What to have prior to the appointment

Rabies Vaccination records, can bring a copy to the appointment our email us at muddypupsmanagement@gmail.com. Dogs that are pregnant need to wait to book an appointment.

What to expect

We collect information about your dogs or cats. We give you an approximate quote based on the breed, size, weight, and type of hair. We booked the appointment. Groom consultation in person with the clients and groomers, give you an approximate time when they will be finished and then contact you when they are finished. 

  • If you go home and see something you want to fix with the groom, contact us and we will fix and make changes

Terms and Conditions


Health & Medical Issues

Grooming may reveal or aggravate a concealed or existing medical condition. This may occur during or after grooming. The pet owner agrees that all known medical conditions have been disclosed and accepts responsibility for any veterinary expenses incurred. It is strongly advised that all pets are up to date on vaccinations. Rabies vaccination is required by law and is mandatory for grooming services.


Accidents

While accidents are rare, grooming involves the use of sharp tools, and minor injuries may occur—especially if a pet is anxious, matted, or moving excessively. In the event of an incident, Muddy Pups will notify the owner immediately. If emergency veterinary care is required and the owner cannot be reached, Muddy Pups is authorized to seek veterinary attention at the owner’s expense but will be determined on a case by-case basis at the sole discretion of Muddy Pups LLC ownership, taking into account the circumstances of the incident, severity, and compliance.


Aggressive or Difficult Behavior

Muddy Pups reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or modify services for pets that become overly stressed, aggressive, or unsafe to handle. Safety of pets and staff is our top priority. Muzzles or additional handling methods may be used when necessary.


Fleas & Parasites Policy

Pets found with fleas may receive a flea bath. We strongly recommend routine flea and tick prevention to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all pets.


Matting Policy

Severely matted coats can cause discomfort, skin irritation, or hidden injuries. The owner authorizes Muddy Pups to humanely shave or trim the pet as necessary for the pet’s comfort and safety. Additional grooming charges may apply.


Appointment Cancellations + No-Show Fee

All appointment cancellations must be made by 4:00 PM the night before your scheduled appointment. Same-day cancellations or no-call / no-shows will be subjected to a No-Show Fee but will be determined on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Muddy Pups LLC ownership. No-Show fees must be paid before booking any future appointments. No-Show Fee: 50% of the grooming service price will be charged for no-call / no-show appointments.


Express Groom Add-On Information

Express full grooms are only available for appointments booked between 8:00–10:00 AM. With an Express Groom, your pet will be finished as quickly as possible, typically within 2 hours or less. $10 Express Groom add-on fee applies.


Late Arrival Policy

Clients receive a 15-minute grace period after their scheduled appointment time. Arrivals 20–30 minutes late may be subject to a $15 late fee. Please note: If you arrive late, service is not guaranteed, and your appointment may need to be rescheduled depending on availability
